Over 100 Conkwright Middle School students from Clark County and their teachers visited EKU's College of Business and Technology Center on Thurs., Feb. 20, 2014. Hosted by Kentucky Innovation Network Center @ EKU Executive Director Kristel Smith, students joined in on activities simulating their classroom 'Shark Tank' project.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the untimely passing of Michael Rodriguez, Director of the EKU Small Business Development Center in the College of Business & Technology’s Center for Economic Development, Entrepreneurship & Technology.  He leaves behind a wife, Teresa and a son, Timothy.

Having served 44 productive years in higher education, EKU College of Business and Technology Dean, Dr. Bob Rogow, has announced that he will retire at the end of the current academic year. Dr. Rogow joined Eastern Kentucky University 16 years ago as Dean of the College of Business.  He will retire on July 31, 2014, as Dean of the College of Business and Technology.

The 11th Annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Collegiate Business Concept Challenge invites business IDEAS from EKU students. Contestants/teams with the top concept will be selected to discuss strategies for their ideas with entrepreneurs and business professionals and be eligible for a cash prize up to $1,000.
