Annual EIEA Collegiate Business Concept Challenge invites business ideas
The 12th Annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Collegiate Business Concept Challenge invites business IDEAS from EKU students. Contestants/teams with the top concept will be selected to discuss strategies for their ideas with entrepreneurs and business professionals.
The Collegiate Business Concept Challenge is a friendly competition between colleges and universities in eastern Kentucky focused on entrepreneurship and business development. Teams and individuals compete through written and oral presentations and are evaluated by a panel of expert judges coming from a variety of fields.
CBCC is a way to bring awareness to the power and opportunity brought by entrepreneurship, and also provides a way to recognize and reward creative thinkers.
Students who compete can win up to $1,000 and are recognized at the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards program in September along with the leading business owners in the region.
The business concept should provide a thoughtful investigation into a new business idea. The idea should be innovative, yet sensible; must be an original business concept suggested by the student and it can be a product, service, or social venture.
CONCEPTS ARE DUE FEBRUARY 27 and must be submitted online by completing the online submission forms which may be found at the KyEAN website.
